The zip
Riri, finished in palladium.
Where a piece closes, it closes on Riri — the Swiss zip, plated in palladium rather than painted to look like it. It moves without sound and it will outlast the decade.

The philosophy
Veloro rests on what can be checked, not on what can be claimed: a fibre with a measured fineness, a named spinner, a garment knitted to one person’s dimensions. There is no theatre to any of it. The material is the argument.
The outside says nothing. The inside carries your name.
The material
Baby cashmere is the underdown of the young cashmere goat, combed once, in the animal’s first year. It is never taken again.
Each animal gives only a few tens of grams fine enough to keep — a fraction of an ordinary cashmere yield, and measurably finer. The fibre is spun into yarn by Cariaggi, the Italian spinner trusted with the smallest and finest lots in the world. One fibre, one mill, one standard.
The making
There are no sizes, no stock, no shelf. A Veloro piece is knitted only after it is yours — to shape, to your measurements, by master knitters in Italy.
Your measurements are recorded at the start and held on file. Every piece that follows fits without a fitting.
Each piece is fully fashioned — every panel knitted to its final form, not cut from cloth. Nothing of the fibre is wasted; nothing of the fit is approximate.
Seams are joined stitch to stitch by hand. The garment is washed, pressed, and your name is stitched inside — the only name it carries.
Nothing exists until it is made for you.
The anatomy
What cannot be seen from across a room.

The label
The only mark on a Veloro is inside: a mulberry-silk label carrying your name. The outside carries nothing, because the person wearing it needs no reminding.

The chip
An NFC chip is set into the hem. Tap it with a phone and the piece answers for itself: the fibre, the spinner, the measurements it was knitted to, and the hands that finished it.

The box
Each piece arrives in a wooden presentation box, made once, like the garment it holds. Nothing about a Veloro is disposable — including the way it reaches you.

By invitation
We take each measure, knit the piece to it, and stitch your name inside. There is nothing to buy here — only a place to be known to the house. Tell us where to find you.
